Here are some great thoughts to keep in mind if you are thinking of starting your own business.

- Realize that feeling overwhelmed is a good thing, usually you got more work than you can handle, do yourself a favor and hire people.

- Businesses Fail? Yes they do, but its proven fact that a much larger percentage succeed. When you see a local business disappear, it doesn't always mean they went bankrupt. Retirement and the Sale of the Business is another possibility. So keep a positive and open mind.

- If you don't got your own ideas, there is nothing wrong with owning a franchise. Many successful franchise owners will actually have more than 1 of the franchise.

- An online business is great because the work to payout ratio is much better than most businesses. However, expect to spend a significant amount of time initially setting the business up and getting the ball rolling.

- It is very difficult to get very wealthy working for someone else.

- Fear stops a lot of people from doing things they really want to do. Get out of your comfort zone and try new things. At the end of the day, what do you really have to lose? Your home, wife, kids? How bad do you want to succeed?

- Make sure your following a proven system or path (I know this is a tough one) but you got to strive each day and track your progress periodically to ensure you are excelling to some extent.
